These scatter pins are a neat blast from the past when mushrooms were a fashion statement in the late 1960s and early 1970s. It is nice to find these pins still together as a set.The design is elegant and sophisticated and although they are not signed, I believe they were made by DeNicola. 

DeNicola had a patented method of micro-crystalline gold texturing that is unlike any other designer. The caps on the mushroom have a fine micro sand texture of encrusted gold. This texturing on the caps is 18kt gold plated. The rest of the mushroom is yellow gold gilt over brass. The caps have a wave or hat like shape and underneath you can see the rib like structure of the mushroon; under the cap and on the stem. 

The pins are petite and each measures 1" tall x 1" wide. Both have the original fine working safety clasps and both are in pristine excellent condition with no signs of wear or other imperfections. The pins are not signed.
