The 1960s was a time when all women had the skills and the time to sew, knit, embroider, and crochet. 

My German grandmother knitted one afghan a month! I had 2 sisters and my mother made all of our dresses and special school outfits... and I honestly don't know how she did it! Because most women made things that were a must have item, it was not common to find crocheted jewelry items. Bracelets like this are very uncommon to find today. 

The bracelet is crocheted from metallic gold thread and the stitching is professional and perfect. The exterior is embellished with four rows of satin gold pearl beads. What is also exceptional about finding a bracelet like this is that it is not stretched out and appears to have never been worn. The gold pearl beads have no wear and look like new. 

My wrist is exactly 7" and while the bracelet will fit, it is a little to snug for comfort. The bracelet will best fit wrists that are 6 1/2" or less. It is 1 1/4" or 32 mm wide and the gold pearl beads are 8 mm. The entire bracelet is perfectly clean and bright.
