These unique 1970s vintage earrings are hand cut pieces of pink Mother of Pearl. This unique coloration is very rare to find and has many shades of pearly pinks and specks of deep cherry red.
The sections are assembled in a wave or fan shape and connected like sections of stained glass - with hand tooled silver metal between and around the sections. The earrings are for pierced ears and have silver metal slip through type posts. The posts can be detached and turned upside down, and you can drop or raise the length the earrings by about 1/2".
The shell section of the earrings is 1 7/8" long x 1 1/4" wide. The pierced ear posts are 3/4" long. You can make the earrings hang down 2 1/4" long or 1 3/4" long. Both earrings are in pristine condition with no imperfections to the shells and no wear. The silver metal clips have a very light patina from age and can be polished to your liking.
Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new earring presentation box.
