This vintage Sapphire glass ring was made in the 1950s. The elegant, simple, classic design is an antique reproduction style of jewelry which was often worn by royalty. The faceted round Sapphire is excellent old world quality that was hand faceted and hand polished. The high lead content accounts for the exceptional deep, rich, brilliance. 
 
The ring is made of silver rhodium metal and the perimeter is graced with a round frame of diamond like clear crystals. All of the crystals are securely prong set. 
 
Unsigned, the face of the ring is petite at 5/8" or 16 mm wide. The sapphire crystal is 11 mm and the clear rhinestones are 3 mm. The ring band is made of silver rhodium metal and is adjustable from a size 6 1/2 to a size 8 1/2. 
 
The ring is in great microscopically clean condition. The sapphire glass and the rhinestones are all original, present, and super sparkling with no chips, scratches, or facet wear. There is no silver rhodium wear in the setting area but there are some small spots of rhodium wear on the ring band. The ring is not signed.
