Impressive, very rare and unique signed Dominique vintage brooch! 

A large layered creation is made of yellow gold metal and the crystal head dress sits up a layer higher than the face profile. Long slender crystal navettes in deep ruby red and black create the head dress in two staggered rows. The open work face design has two rows of small black rhinestone chatons, a frame of small and medium clear chatons, and all prong set. The eye is a deep ruby red Marquise, the mouth is red rhinestones, with a larger red chaton at the ear. 

Impressive in size, the brooch measures 2 3/8" tall x 2 1/8" wide. The navettes on headdress are 5/8" long. All of the rhinestones and crystals are original, present, and sparkling. No scratches on crystals. No gold metal wear. The back has original fine working safety clasp and the Dominique cartouche. 

Dominique is the signature of Dominic De Tora, a premier jewelry designer; before striking out on his own he worked for the vintage jewelry houses of Weiss and Eisenberg; now, he designs and produces a limited quantity of high quality jewelry. All of the stones are hand set by Dominic himself in his private studio, using only the highest quality rhinestones, which he has acquired over his many decades in the business.
