I've been collecting and researching antique and vintage jewelry for the past 40+ years and in my professional opinion, Wendy Gell jewelry is severely underappreciated and undervalued. 

In the 1970s and 1980s, Wendy's designs were on the cover of Vogue and in thousands of editorials in magazines all over the world. She designed special pieces for Bill Blass, Oscar de La Renta, and Louis Dell'Olio. Wendy made Rivoli crystal earrings in long dangle designs in many different colors. These are some of the most elegant earring designs I have ever seen in my 40 yrs of collecting jewelry. 

What I also admire most about her earrings is the quality construction. Look at the back of the earrings and you can see the thick round brass plates adhered with clear epoxy resin; made to last a century or more. 

These stunning black Rivoli crystal pierced earrings are 3 1/8" or 80 mm long. The crystals are 16 mm and a larger 18 mm crystal at the top. <

The earrings are in pristine clean condition. There are no chips, cracks, or facet wear on the crystals <span style="text-decoration: underline;">but there is some very light microscopic edge wear in spots and one tiny flea bite on the edge of on crystal,</span> hardly worth noting and not visible to the naked eye. The brass links have an aged patina. Both earrings are signed Wendy Gell.
